Class Description:
Holi, the name itself splashes colors and makes the heart bloom with hope, love, and life. In the Indian subcontinent, this festival marks the onset of Spring and is an invocation for a bountiful harvest. It is a time for unity and joy, where we celebrate by splashing colors on each other and praying that our internal shadows be replaced by light.
Join us for this hands-on cooking class infused with the high-energy spirit of the festival! Not only will you learn to cook a traditional Northern Indian spread, but you will also learn to dance to the tunes of iconic Holi numbers. We are bringing in a local dance teacher to guide you through the steps, ensuring you feel the rhythm of India right here in Mystic.
